Kitchen LVT Installation in Croydon

Our team completed a smart two day transformation for a modern kitchen in Croydon. The client selected Amtico Spacia in Sash Oak Plank to complement the light cabinetry and stone worktops, creating a calm and contemporary finish with the practicality of luxury vinyl tile.

Day one focused on preparation. We removed the existing covering and inspected the concrete subfloor before priming and applying a high quality levelling compound to achieve a smooth, even base.

Perimeters and thresholds were detailed carefully to ensure a seamless transition to the adjoining carpeted area. Once cured, the surface was checked and lightly abraded for a perfect bond.

Day two was dedicated to laying. We set out the plank pattern to run the length of the galley kitchen, aligning with cabinet lines for a balanced look. Using the appropriate adhesive for Amtico Spacia, the planks were installed with precise joints and consistent expansion gaps where required.

The floor was rolled for full adhesion, trims were fitted, and everything was cleaned and finished ready for use.
The result is a durable, water resistant kitchen floor with the warm character of Sash Oak and the easy maintenance of Amtico.
