Alba AHB1893F Herringbone Flooring Installation in Hounslow West London

Alba Flooring supplied and installed Alba AHB1893F across the hallway, living room, and into a section of the kitchen in a property located in Hounslow West London.

We began by mechanically fixing flooring grade plywood to the original timber subfloor, creating a stable base for the new installation.

The plywood was then primed and finished with a flexible fibre reinforced smoothing compound to achieve the required SR1 subfloor standard, ensuring the surface was flat, level, and ready for its new floor covering.

Once the preparation work was complete, we installed 37 square metres of engineered wood in a herringbone format.
